CD Multichanger Adapter Plug

I bought a new clearance CD Multichanger a couple of years ago as a spare - cheap as chips.

However, had a look at fitting it to one of cars today, and it has a phono type socket.

Anyone know of an adapter plug I can use to connect it to the glovebox lead plug, or a wiring diagram for this type of multichanger so that I can wire it to the existing socket?

Hi Mike I'm in the same boat as I have a Phono cable that came as part of a link harness kit from rimmer brothers but when i went to attach to my auto changer my new phono cable has two female ends? 🤔 is your changer a rover one?.

Well it was advertised as a Rover item Ste - only bought it as a spare just in case one of our ones packed up. I have come across two different types of original plugs for the multichangers apart from this one though.

Dug it out of stock when the multichanger in the new acquisition kept jamming CDs. When I saw the plugs were different I stripped the old one down and lubricated all the carriage sliders and bushes and it literally hasn't missed a beat since.

The new one is back in stock, and if it is needed in future I'll have the plug off and do a bit of investigation on which wire goes where and rewire a compatible plug on it.
