1/. The TMC works very well

2/. The factory flatly refuses to rewrite the RDS , it is off the table for now

3/. We have an issue about Antenna connections. We think that we need a splitter to service the TMC and the Radio at the same time but we will either provide the adapter with the radio unless the factory has some other solution. This will not stop production as we have already sourced the Adaptor ourselves We have 2 Solutions to this and It is now off the table. We will be supplying a seperate TMC antenna with each one.

4/. They changed the method to modify the LOgos, at first we thought the feature had disappeared and we could not and would not release to production without that feature for very obvious reasons. This AM we were told that the method had changed and Tony tried the new method and it works. Resolved

5/. We have to get clarification on the LOUD button which is working in reverse Loud button will only boost the bass, if you make any adjustments to the Bass and or Treble the Loudness works in reverse, I.E it lowers the Bass & Treble, this was not like it on the old unit, you could push the loud button and still add extra Bass and or Treble. Factory has assured us that this will be fixed in the production units.

6/. We are trying to clarify HOW to connect Sub-Woofer. It seems they have changed the connection for the sub-woofer. This is Not determined yet. Just waiting for Tony to reconnect as per factory instructions to see if it is resolved, Should know today

Yes , and as ANOTHER Side note... It is a GOOD thing that we waited, Or else we would have reversed Loud Button, No TMC antennas and have to scramble to get one. Tony will be back soon on the SUB.

Sean,

It might be worth you mentioning in this thread that you will have a UK repair place in the future, rather than needing to send the units back to China in case of faults. Makes these units even more desirable IMHO.

Rich.

What are the factory quoting you timescale wise for production Sean? 5 days or so? I'm just thinking if we're lucky enough to be able to go production this week, is there a chance we'll have them next week?

I think it better to get a firm date before I say.
But everyone is chewing at the bit there as well as in the UK.
I assure you.

It just keeps getting better and better!

Glad I never ordered direct from China.
