Cool

Evening everyone.

Loss of appetite, feeling blooming tired.

Some kind soul has biffed the wee car. Managed to polish the paint off, just some deep scratches left. Given her a waxing. Banana just got a wash.

My strawberry plants are flowering again. One of my clematis’s is flowering again. First time it’s flowered twice in one year.

Morning all.

Dry here with a few clouds. Feeling much more like autumn with a chill and the dew soaking the grass.

SWMBO is planning some gardening today - so I must find some important jubs to do on the Tourer. Shouldn't be too difficult .

Bob - I hope the breakfast is good

Jeff - Well, they've got going now. Hope it's a "proper" race.

Take care everyone.

Morning lads

I have been up doing exercises and walking. Quite hard to do but I don’t want to become an invalid or get a DVT. I started on new pain medication: the morphine has been stopped and replaced with Oxycodone Liquid which is stronger than morphine and has fewer side effects but it’s still constipating. So will be glad to get off it as soon as I can.

At the moment I am sleeping on a sofa in our friends snug. It’s another week before I am allowed to use stairs and find a proper bed to sleep in. Sleeping on a sofa isn’t that great but it could be worse. Thank goodness for YouTube.

Does anyone watch Strictly?

A funny mixture of types. I guess it’s the Beeb trying to be PC and reflective of society.

Morning all, been a bit of a week here, Claire launched herself off her bike and ended up in A&E, some stiches and a lot of bruising, thankfully nothing more serious.

I had a dodgy pasty from a garage which gave me food poisoning, returned to work on Friday only to bend down to pick up a mop bucket and pull my back out.

It's like an episode of casualty in here at the moment, if you have shares in a pharma company I expect you will be doing well the amount I have spent on pain killers this week!

Yes, SWMBO .

She's been a fan since Series 1 which is a good number of years ago. While it's an entertainment program it's also a dance program and the "funny mixture of types" is putting her off watching it. Make of that what you will.

They say (whoever they are) that it never rains but it pours! Hopefully, you will both feel better soon. Keep your chins up and keep taking the meds! The sun is shining here in Norfolk, so she will be dragging me out (kicking and screaming) for a walk soon. Ibuprofen and light exercise for the back. (Don't ask how I know this!)
