Fell and bashed my head on a protruding wall nail ripping off the skin - red raw and being on anti-coagulants and scalp, there was lots of blood. Fortunately I was able to use steri-strips to close the wound.

Just off out to buy more Op-site waterproof dressing because tomorrow we are flying to the coast and I would like to go swimming. Salt water is healing

Jeff, have a great day making progress with the builder and no protrusions!
Have you been drinking that falling over water Phil?

Enjoy your holiday at the coast and enjoy the swimming and watch out for the sharks

Third time lucky! Resowing some tomato seeds again as quite a few tomato varieties haven't germinated due to the cold weather & this peat free compost everyone is selling now, Not very good for sowing in even after sieving, It's still woody & fibrous. Peat compost isn't banned until next year
I dare not leave the room with three curious cats wanting to walk in it, they've already walked across it & tipped two pots over

Good morning all,

Typically it's a damp start to the day here. Forecast is for more of the same all day !!

Think I might knock up a casserole to stick in the slow cooker for tonight. Can't beat a bit of comfort food on a wet and dreary day

Morning all, It's grey & wet out there from last nights deluge. I've been waiting to get in the garden to do some work for ages but the ground is sodden.
Golden wedding anniversary today Got a bunch of roses & a card to take up with her brekkie. 50 years! Where has all that time gone?

Our GW was during Covid, so was muted. We will be celebrating whilst on holiday this year. Congratulations and all the best for the future. Mike
