Everyone always assumes it was the van driver's fault. The 75 driver could have reversed out of a driveway without looking!

The problem is if the van has not got a tracker fitted and you are on multi drop you continuously get a " where are you now" calls from your controller because he has customers phoning him up and giving him an ear full as their stuff has not been delivered when they were told it would be. having said that most van driver wait until they can pull safely over then phone him back, when you do that you then loose even more time.

that doesn't wash with me, I am afraid, and I have sympathy with the drivers. I know they can come under immense pressure for little money but handsfree, Bluetooth headsets? whilst they still enable the distraction, they do reduce the risk significantly.

I don't know the circumstances, but I would hazard a guess at the driver not paying full attention to the road, perhaps a shifted load, looking for a house number, or on the phone, but to do that damage, they must have going at some rate. I hope there are no injuries, but I feel for the 75 driver. looking at the spec and colour, it does look like an enthusiast's car.
