best mpg i had so far...
the other day i drove from my house in west london to northampton 199 miles (160 roundtrip + 39 miles drive around town for two days). ZTT diesel used only just over a quarter of tank. it is quite impressive considering i averaged 75-80mph on the motorway.
maybe the new splitter helped a bit. |

I regularly get well over 550 miles from an indicated 3/4 of a tank. Enormously satisfying for me when my previous vehicle was a 4.0L V8 petrol Discovery Edit - sorry! - just seen your other post - doh!! Last edited by Darcydog; 16th March 2016 at 19:07.. |

I always chuckle at the 53 54 mpg figures often quoted.

I have nudged 50mpg and achieved it once after a long motorway drive.
This winter has been about 44 mpg on average. Last sumer averaged 47 mpg which considering a fair chunk of my driving is urban and country with occasional long motorway hauls is fine by me! So happy with that - in fact I am deeply impressed. |

Most I ever got was 59mpg on a clear straight run from Leeds to Whitby and back again. Average around town is mid-low 40's although in summer this did go up to 46.3 (according to the computer).
The Evoque is terrible in comparison only getting 35mpg around town and 45-48 on a run. |

I seem to be stuck at about 43-44 mpg on long motorway runs. But at least I can try to improve the MPH figures innit... lol...

If I reset my mpg while cruising on the motorway I can get it show over 60 mpg lol. Normally about 43-45 for my auto Tourer and I'm happy with it

Hi Sean. I don't know why you chuckle. Is it because you do not believe that it's true?
