Video of My very smokey diesel
Sorry for yet another post. I thought i should show you what ive got so a better idea of what the problem is.
A very big thankyou for those who have responded and helped so far. Please bear with me. Once this problem is solved you'll never hear from me again...well until the next problem! Heres a cilip of my very smokey diesel. https://youtu.be/k_gcLhBhfyA That is grey smoke right? Which means unburnt diesel? Which means one or more injectors is / are playing up? Which means all the clever and smart people who said injectors were right!!! Just need to work out which ones are faulty! |

About 130k with no problems starting from either hot or cold. Just incredibly smokey.
Done the maf to death. Plugged in, unplugged, new maf, old maf and in all combinations. Interestingly rechecked the new maf again today via torque. Before it was slightly out of spec but today spot on. Waiting for the bits to arrive to do a leak back test. |

i have seen your vídeo...
dont believe in the injectors because has you say you dont feel anything besides the smoke... as you say really smokey... the ic hose is well conected and tight in the intercoler and in the egr??? i think you have a problema there... if it was injectors it would stall under hard accelaration and sometmes starting the engine... when i change the hose and the ic orings, mine done that for a few minutes in all of the times i messed in that particular place, so i think your problema is there... i think you have a breach somewere the hose or in the conections or maybe the orings... |

if the white smoke really stinks of diesel fuel then injectors are main suspects if not, remove the Ronbox and set everything up as basic, then work from there....
