As far as i'm aware, the coils changed in 2003/2004.
Earlier models had coil packs, later had the coil-on-plug (pencil) type. My 03 2.0 Conn SE Auto has the breather pipe going into the air cleaner box (the white adapter is as brittle as hell & broke on mine !!) |

It's a big wiggly tube that does into the bulkhead! Something to do with it being an auto. I know nothing about automatics (never even driven one before) but would it have something to do with the brake when the car's stationary?

I'm pretty sure my 190 doesn't have leads either.

Hmmm looking at these photos I had better check the engine number on TGB as she has the plug top coil packs and was registered Jan 2000.
