Default 2005 ZT-T CD Auto Changer

I just saw the SMC post about the cubby hole covers and was prompted to look at my car. I already have the offside one and behind it I saw the mounting for a CD changer complete with wiring! My car currently has the Iovox? single CD player (CD 413X). Anyone know what type of unit I need to connect to this? The lead has an 8 pin circular female plug.
Many thanks, Tony.

Hi Kevin,
I don't know yet, because I have yet to remove the radio facia. I'm guessing that the CD changer was never fitted, rather than being removed, but I don't know!
Does your Alpine unit have the 8 pin connection and if so how much would you want including postage?
Regards, Tony.

Hi Tony, I recently put a Symphony head unit in my 06 ZT in place of the CD413X only to find that the changer in the boot wasn't compatible with the Symphony and so I had to replace the changer as well. I therefore have a changer that is compatible with a CD413x and is fitted with the circular plug for connecting to the car loom. If you're interested let me know. The changer is apparently MP3 compatible in case that's important.

Regards
Keith
