Default Rear Heat Shield

Hi, my rear heat shield has broken away form the 2 side mounting bolts (1 either side) and I think I can fix quite easily. All I really need to do, is remove the 2 bolts, find a large washer bigger than the current hole and re-connect. My question is would it matter what type of metal the washers were made of given that this is a heat shield? Thanks.

Any washers will be fine, I use plastic coated ones and they have never suffered, plenty of penetrating oil on the bolts, they have sometimes known to be fragile.
