Default What engine does my MG ZT-T 2.5 190 V6 have

Hi Guys,

I need to order new O2 sensors for my MG ZT-T 2.5V6 190 but not sure what engine it has.

It was originally a 2002 but had engine swapped out last year and think 2004 one was put in but the engine number plate is all rusty so cant see what it is.

Would these fit my car http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-R...AAAOSw-0xYftSO

Thanks,
Dave

The ebay link you provided is for one sensor by the looks of it, not two.
Why do you intend to fit a pair anyway?
Have you had yours tested?
It's unusual for two to fail at the same time.

When I select my car it says to check details under notes > Important part details here it says ENGINE CODE: 25 K4F Quantity 2 when you hover mouse over it. In the description it says OE Ref: MHK100722; MHK100728; 25024480; ROV-MHK100728

The one in red is same ref part number as the one in the link from TomRS, I just figured for the price if it comes as a pair then might as well swap out both.

I have been having starting issues and error codes coming up for O2 Sensors:

Fault Code [P0135] O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
Fault Code [P0155] O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

It does sound like the heater circuit has failed on both (possibly at different times?).
I would still check the sensors at source with a multi-meter to make sure that the fault is actually with the sensors.
You shouldn't ever just change components on the results of a scan without further testing.
As far as I recall, the sensors for pre & post cat are the same.
It may be worth checking with the seller before you purchase because I think the additional info is saying two required rather than two included in the sale.

Replace both Lambda's have a lifespan anyway, a 100k interval change is probably best as over time the heater circuit breaks down and the sensors ability to "sniff" the exhaust gases gets lazier the older it is.
So replacing for fresh is a great improvment to MPG and overall on throttle performance.
I recently did both of mine and it made a huge improvement, i just need another VIS motor and some front arms as well haha!

Well its done nearly 110K so prob worth just doing them like you said, I will contact the seller and confirm though.
