Removing glue ???
Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove glue from headrest fabric without destroying the headrest?
Thank you in advance. Last edited by Dallas; 19th March 2019 at 18:18.. |

Isopropyl alcohol spray, is pretty good at shifting things like that.

Freeze spray can work depending how far it has penetrated the fabric.
I managed to get some glue out of a carpet with this trick as it goes brittle. |

Cellulose thinners on a dampncloth will do the trick, it softens the glue.
I use gun wash for any clean up jobs of this nature. |

Do you know what sort of glue it is? For example, is it an impact/contact adhesive like Bostik or most fabric glues. Or a hard resin type glue such as Araldite? Different glues need different treatments. Having said that, the situation being a large (?) area of a textile surface isn't likely to be easy. Looks like an MG 'badge'.

I'd be wary of the WD40 idea, your next post would be how do I get rid of the WD40.
