Firefrost is second to Copperleaf, had both still have the copperleaf tourer from all those 17 years ago, and because i have had it from brand new always Autoglymed it and the paint work on the body still comes up fantastic!
its got some pitting on the bonnet now but after 312000 miles what do you expect, my donor 75 ( Also Copperleaf tucked in my garage) has a near perfect bonnet in paint work, always autoglym that too to keep those panels in top shape for future usage if required. In fact the wife cant tell which is donor car to the road active car. The "scrapper" as i like to call it has a perfect 2.0 litre petrol engine still operational engine its a shame really because the Scrapper could actually be road worthy if required with some monies and its reg Starts with BL So always think of her as British Leyland. anyway back to the copperleaf the best colour of the mark ones along with moonstone green. |

I didn't know about Firefrost when I bought my Copperleaf. I think I slightly prefer it, but then I don't like the facelift changes, and love all the bling on my pre-Project Drive CDT. So I think I got the best combination, including Sandstone leather and real walnut, if not the best example paintwise, although no rust in the sills.

I would like to have got a 75 in Nightfire Red. Unfortunately they do not do that colour. My 220 SD Diesel was in that colour. I had many comments about it, especially when the sun shone on it.

I don't like silver cars but l think Starlight is lovely. It even shows off chrome.
My car is Copperleaf of course & polishes up lovely despite the few battle scars & pitted bonnet, blimming stones.

I'd call that maroon meself. Now my neighbour must have had one of the early R75s - in this maroon - and I never gave it a second glance. Roll on ten years and I've got two of them, but not in maroon. Funny that.
