The prime minister
Of NZ really impresses me. She seems to find the right words that matches the mood of that wonderful country.

Oh how we could use politicians like her, instead of the talentless dross we have to endure.

I also quite liked G Gillard the former Australian PM, she had a tough time but got so much of her own agenda through Parliament. There are a number of female MPs that sound good to me in our own Parliament.

She obtained power by stabbing a colleague in the back when he had bad ratings then refused to go when her own ratings sank even lower. Condescending and inarticulate is how she was summed up. If you admire that sort of performance then the likes of May and Corbyn will be right up your street. And I too admire the words of the current NZ PM - but the reality is she is PM only because she shares power with another party that openly expresses anti immigrant bile. In politics you are forced into bed with strange bedfellows..... |

Many of them enter strange beds entirely of their own volition and with only their own greater satisfaction in mind.
As for the NZ PM she has vowed to never say the perp's name again. Rather stupid and pointless methinks. Indicates a mind closed to progress. In contrast, our own has recognised her position, at last, and taken the altruistic step. Quite a sacrifice after all that effort, however misguided. I admire her courage, persistence and effort.
