For 6 peeps ( 4 bigs/2 smallers) in july/August this year

That I haven't got to sell a limb for

You are going to struggle, since the London lot have discovered this mazing place prices have got ridiculous.

I suspect you are going to struggle to find anything that you want to stay in for less than a £grand a week at that time of year and then the ferry will cost you another£140 return. If you do find somewhere and plan to eat out book early as everywhere gets booked up weeks in advance.

But ferry not yet resolved got down to under 100 quids return but taking 2 cars

Red Funnel sometimes do a deal if you travel at a quite time or very early in the morning, it used to be called the paper boat because it took the news papers across.

The problem is most crossings these days are full and they have a captive market so don't need to reduce there prices. Some IOW residents have two cars, one on the mainland and one on the Island as it is cheaper than using the car ferry and they get discount.

Found 2 vouchers so sorted , single use voucher for 58 and one online saver link for 76 quids , both returns for the 2 cars ..

More hassle, but being sorted ..

2 weeks ago aftyer i had comfirmation of the booking from the IOW park,

Got an email form the Sun saying the park had been sold and new owners have cancelled all bookings for refurbisment

..

No being moved to my distance second choice ( parkdean) and presently still no confirmation of my new booking , and only 2 weeks to the Hol date
