I am getting further and further down the blimmen list and demand a recount!!

My car is now up to 170K so that should move me from 32nd up to 24th ish innit.. Still not good, but deff better innit...

My 1999 CDT has now done 260000 and still runs well, it does need a few minor jobs doing but basically everything still works ok apart from the air con which I have never bothered to repair .I changed the clutch at about 250000 and as far as I know it had only been changed once before at about 110000 the flywheel was getting toward the wear limit but I decided not to change it as at this sort of mileage it was hard to justify the cost but so far so good.

Your thermostat has been duff from new then. Suggest you add "in-line stat mod" to your signature list.
