Whats happening with the Red Car in Photos Les, that looks in Nice condition from the Back?
It is in good condition, we don't buy accident damaged cars, the red one in the photo is the one that the powerfolds came from, this is the one with the nice leather interior which will end up in my car unless someone buys it soon!

Looks good

As a matter of interest, how long does it take to strip a car, Les?

The red one in the photo came in yesterday at 2.00pm, the shell will be ready for disposal on Monday, not usually that quick though, it depends on how busy we are and if we need the space etc, I have a British Racing Green one (not shown in the photos) half stripped that has been here 6 months now

Wow, that seems pretty quick.

Is there much "waste" or can you pretty much recycle everything?

Just a few trim bits really, not found a good use for those as yet, we use the fuel (obviously), the oils are used for heating, the shell (whats left) for metal recycling, pretty much everything else is put in to stock

Although its a shame to see our cars being broken up, its good to see that the vast bulk of the vehicle can be reused.

Exactly why we like to call our parts recycled not secondhand, you will not see the term scrap yard or breakers yard here
