New master should arrive tomorrow morning. I’d prefer the Dmgrs one, but I am in hurry so the LuK one must serve. It’s the factory fitted if am I correct ?
Need to go to holiday on Friday so wish me luck.

Hi I have read through this .maybe I have missed something . But why did you feel the need to bleed the system .
Is their a fluid loss or poor pedal .
Check for fluid under gearbox . Or on carpet .
If it's losing fluid under gear box then it's clutch time . Not a big job .all the best with it anyway

Hello all,

Today I replaced the master cylinder. What a pity job to get to screws and get the cylinder back to it’s place. Clutch is back and the gears go pretty well however it’s not perfect still. Anyway, now it is the best it ever was, almost like new car

I decided to bleed it because I lost gears completely 3 days ago. So I topped up empty reservoir of master. Gears were back like never before. Next day I wanted to improve it a bit and give it fresh fluid, what a bad idea, but I believe the master would give up anyway. I know the slave it’s not right too, because it’s noisy when I press the clutch. It’s noisy lets say for 2 years, but it’s still working. Maybe theres a small leak somewhere but I think the fault was combination of dying master and not so well slave.

Wish me luck tomorrow. We will see.

Btw I changed the big gearbox mount when it was stripped already. The new one is slightly different - the mounting holes for battery tray. Was a real struggle to get battery tray and all that stuff around back to it’s place. It’s mounted with 2 bolts only instead of four and everything is moved a bit and dont sit properly - the webasto intake and battery cables etc… need to sort it soon, I am not happy with that Maybe Another gearbox mount is needed.

Thanks to all
