What CD Changer and where can I get one?
I have a 2002 75 CDT Classic. It has a Harmony head unit. I nearly bought one online from 'addacdchanger.com' or something like that but they said my HU wasn't compatable with a changer. Is it the case that some of the 75 HU's aren't compatable? If I can get one, who sells them? Worst case scenario, how much for the changer and leads? Best case scenario as well please.
Thanks |

There are currently several changers on ebay (some brand new) that will fit your Harmony.
See here for full information and changer part numbers: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...hread.php?t=34 hth

A sample:

ps welcome to the forums. Stick around as you won't find a better place to keep your 75 as you want it.

Hi all, I don't know if Beng's has but my '99 CDT Club has a 12 pin connector hanging down under the fusebox. The Alpine autochangers I've seen recently have a 10 pin connector hanging out of the back, is there an adaptor that'll fit between the two connectors to make the Harmony HU in my car work or are there autochangers out there with a 12 pin connector?

Hi Mike, not sure at all what it's for but was just taped to the main harness and hanging under the fusebox, it looks just like the connector (but the mating half with female terminals) on the autochanger but with an extra 2 terminals and a connector lock on the sides, the car has never had a changer fitted either. I may have to look under the dash and see what's there.
Many thanks, Les. |

Post a pic of the connector if you can and we'll see if we can tell you what it is for. Mike

Ditched the brackets, kept the torx screws and simply drilled small holes in the side of the glove box and put a washer on the screws which then screwed into the original Freelander mounting points. Job's a good 'un |
