Blimey another year down already.

All's good apart from a pending visit to Duncan in a fortnight for new belts etc and to replace my leaky plastic thermostat housing oh the joys lol

Having bought, but not taken possession of an MG ZT 190, its both impressive and reassuring!

But mine has been laid up for a number of years, so yet to get it up on ramp and examine underside, drove fabulously though.

Highlights.....and lowlights over 8 years?

Biggest expenditure?

Preventative maintenance you undertook?

Good luck for next 8 years!!

Biggest expenses have been replacing the front lower coolant rail and the thermostat located in the vee.
I've also ( well Cossiedunc has) replaced timing belts, water pump etc not cheap but a necessity and when you spread the cost out over the years of ownership not too bad at all.
Vis motors have also been replaced with Stocktakes upgraded motors - replaced in the carpark at Pride of Longbridge
Lowlights - none really. I had a water leak from the sunroof which persisted even after following Artics How To on fixing the drains. Sorted now I hope but it was frustrating. ( The car lives under a cover now so fingers crossed)
Highlights - so many. In September we did a 1000 mile tour down to Whitby and Humberside. The car was faultless, so nice to drive.
Another highlight is taking it up and over the Rest and Be Thankful on holidays to Argyll. The sound, the ride the looks

Preventative measures. I've rust treated the underside and waxoyled. Hopefully jobs a good in, failing that I will no doubt need to replace suspension arms and so forth at some point.

Love the car, it's one of those that begs to be driven
