Default Proclaimers tonight

My in-laws, Mrs Simondi and myself are off to see the Proclaimers this evening in.............Hull.
It's a long story but kind of makes sense.

Not my usual kind of gig to be honest, last week I went to see the NWOBHM band Diamond Head who as usual were fantastic.

Quite looking forward to it but what a difference a week makes lol.

Good to see a couple of loyal Hibees still pulling the crowds

Talking about Hibees, best gig I've been to has to be Fish at the Edinburgh Hibs club a few years ago. Fan club only but my mate got me tickets. Being a small venue there wasn't a big crowd but the place was bouncing.

Went to a Rainbow gig at Ingleston years ago, there were so many "funny fags" being smoked when I came out I felt as if the ground was made of marshmallow!

The Mrs took me to see them at the City Hall in Newcastle a few years back and it was a great night . Everybody was up out of their seats and singing along with them. Fantastic !

Its over and done with

It was alright, pretty tame but some good music and a good crowd.
Bearing in mind I stay in Ayrshire, the guy sat behind me came from a town about 15 miles away from where I live. Small world

Saw them at Sheffield City Hall back in 1982.............very underrated band

Did they perform well Simon?
