Default Right or wrong alloy inlet manifold?

Can anyone tell me if this alloy inlet manifold from a K series Lotus Elise will fit my 1.8T ok?

I have also purchased the 2 gaskets (manifold to head & the manifold splitter) - Part No's LKJ100860 & LKJ100821 - Are these the correct ones?

Any info would be appreciated as I'm not that mechanically clever..

Cheers Rich,
Have you done this mod too? If so, is it fairly straightforward by following Jim's (Vindaloo) How-To?

Is cleaning the injectors necessary (as I won't have access to any ultrasonic cleaning gizmos) - or are there any other useful methods to clean them once they have been removed from the manifold?
Also, what did you use to block off the one unnecessary inlet?

Sorry for all the questions, it's just that I'm going to give this job a go myself and don't want to mess up..

Use your original injectors Karl, then you know what you're dealing with

Cheers Ronnie,
Yeah, I don't think there's any issues with my injectors at present, so probably best to just swap them straight over - can get them cleaned with the technical equipment further down the line if needs be.

The spare hole in the number 4 inlet pipe is for an air temperature sensor, I just left it in as it came with the manifold.

All you need is the 2 manifold halves, the bolts and screws. Reuse everything else from your original manifold.

It is much easier than it seems.

No need to clean the injectors.

Just work your way methodically through it and it should go OK. Did mine some time ago and its been coolant-tight ever since (no dribbles down the back of the block).

Cheers Rich/Mike, will give it a go when all arrives (if not received tomorrow, it'll be a job for Saturday week).
Might also consider completing a super-simple How-To.. for the uninitiated, like me!

you have all probably heard this before, the ports don't quite line up with the vvc manifold and std head, and back to back RR's show a loss (slight) of power....
