I've heard that there's no space for a spare on the V8's, Whats under the floor instead?
Still trying to work out how (not if) I can fit LPG without losing the bootspace...

Rear diff takes up about half of the well, the rest is taken up by the battery and multichanger.

Has anyone got any pictures of the underside of the car?
Maybe the well can be modded to allow fitment of a tank transversely..
(Moving the stereo and battery should be a doddle)

where theres a will theres a way....

"Now THAT is what you call a power cable."

Thats a clue  No its very unlikely you would want to put LPG in the well. Best to slot the tank into the boot area. David has converted his to LPG so can put you in touch if you want to go down that route.

Just to confirm, the spare wheel well is bisected in half by a substantial metal bulkhead, this is to provide room for the rear axle and differnetial.

The front half contains the battery, CD Autochanger and TV module as well as (i think) the emergency fuel cut off switch. Will post a pic later on if i remember.

And if you've got HK sound system I doubt whether an LPG tank would fit over the rear axle either. I've got a 90 litre tank in my V6 but it definately wouldn't fit in my V8 (or Tim's from the look of it).
