Default Rover servicing East Anglia/Northants

Need some help please.

Living outside Wisbech and my R75 has been looked after for the last ten years by the local garage that has now closed.

Garages are listed on the forum in Norwich, Soham, Corby and Northampton, but does anybody have experience of any of them? Prepared to travel, so any suggestions would help. Thank you.

A bit of a trip, but British Legends in Southend has always been good to me and is an MG Rover specialist.

I've used a place called Wheels in Huntingdon for the past 15 years or so & he has always been good to me. He isn't a Rover specialist, but unless you have work that is highly specialised, I would strongly recommend him. He also does a lot of work on classics so there is often interesting cars outside.

For Rover specialists, you have the follwoing not for from Cambridge.

1. BS Motors, Sandy, just off the A1.

2. Kerridges of Needham Market, about 2 miles from the A14/A140 junction.

3. MGOC workshop, Svavesey near Cambridge.

I live in Chatteris. Though I rarely turn to the garage first, I do use the local garage in the centre of town (on the High St, corner of New Road, Chatteris Garage). I've used him for over 15 years, initially just for MoT test, then odd jobs which I decided not to do myself, age creeping on! Always found him helpful, cheap, and trustworthy. The family now have their cars done there always. Well worth a try for you and not too far.

ps rare for me to recommend a garage - my Grandad was in the trade prewar, and taught me to work on cars, never put one in a garage until I got to Chatters and had the exhaust done!

Default Garage qualified to work on these cars

Hi,
Knowing we need people with the knowledge to work on our cars ,I had Mike Stafford from MJSAUTOANDMARINE.CO.UK who was recommended to me by another member come to wisbech this week to replace head gasket, cambelt etc, as the car couldn`t be driven as steam and allsorts going on.He is based in sussex but knows his stuff. I know W H Brand at whaplode drove Spalding used to be Rover dealers and I believe they continue to maintain these cars which isn`t too far away,Regards Paul

You could also bring it over to me in Milton Keynes?
