Default Tourer water ingress..driver rear side over CD changer

Hi chaps,

I have a new water leak which is dripping directly onto the auto changer in the tailgate area behind the little pull out panel...piccy attached.

I can feel up into the void and the metal work seem is carrying the water down from above somewhere...I dont think it is the glass seal...I suspect the seem on the roof under the roof rail trim.

anyone elese had this.

I looked there because the Autochanger was playing up and found the leak...so.... if you have a duff boot mounted auto changer...maybe you have the leak and havent realised?

advice appreciated folks.

Jamie

Could it be the trim clips Jamie,it might be an idea to remove the trim and refit adding a little silicone to the clips.

Default Water on CD Changer

Yep, had this the other week and posted a new thread "19th Nov 2007"
Had plenty of advice and I do think the top window seal may be to blame in my case as I followed other advice given.

The big problem is that my cd changer works, but does not read any discs anymore.

Have a glance at my thread.
