removing phone / cup holder
This should be an easy job, but as the holder is surrounded by trim I'm worried about levering too hard, or scratching the wood when I try and press the lugs back. I am of course presuming there are lugs to push . .
So, my question is, where should I be pushing in order to free the holder and remove it? Last edited by JohnFol; 10th December 2007 at 15:22.. |

Using a torch, with the rubber mat removed from the phone holder, or the cup holder open, look along the inside bottom edge of the holder, where it runs back parallel to the cigar lighter, you will see the clip, it needs a small screwdriver or similar to release it.

That's good to know with what I read in the current issue of Car Mechanics in the article on the Renault Laguna. He mentioned making sure the cup holders work as replacing them means the whole dash has to come out.
