Telestart - Questions
High All,
I have a few questions relating to the telestart operation of the FBH/parking heater, 1. after i have activated FBH via telestart will it switch itself off when it reaches a certain temperature. 2. will it come on again when temperature drops. 3. or will i have to de-activate it manually via the phone. 4. how long is it safe to leave on without flattening battery. (engine not running with brand new battery) as mine talks to me in German i can only understand instructions for starting and stopping via phone. regards bill. |

in the absence of the guru himself, . ..
1) The FBH stays running until the coolant reaches 60 degrees 2) If it acts like the non-Telestart version, then no. 3) If you de-activate it before the coolant is up to temperature, I would guess you can re-activate it 4) Good question. I'd suggest having a read through the book of words to see if it mentions current draw. I would guess it's around 2A so divide the Amp / hour rating of your battery by 2 and you'll have an approximate 30+ hours I stand to be corrected. . . |
