Default 1.8T ...160000miles...Rock Solid!

Got a MG ZT-T 05 that now has a 257000km(160000Miles) on it and its just such a great example of how good these engines are if the are taken care of!

First owner had it from new and did 30000km a year.
He was firstly a mechanic and a half englishman

When I got the car his daughter and son.in.law had thrashed abit cosmeticly but he had been keeping an eye out for the cars mechanical state.

The car has had a great lift interior and other cosmetic ocd niggels by me and I have done a oil change every 10000km...

Now I just what to see how far I can strecth the mileage cous the car is in daily use.

Great Car!!

They are great cars if you keep them maintained. A Moderator on here has one that's on 202000 ATM. 👍

BANANA is on nearly 203,000 miles. Plenty of loving care is the main thing, and keeping your eye on the water level in the header tank.

It's no secret, look after your engine, and it will repay in spades.
My 1.8 is purring away on 115k, I fully expect a lot more miles.
