Heating issue
I have a facelift V6 and having some interior heating issues. The engine goes to midway and stays theer and all looks good, however I only get hot air in the car when the engine is being rev'd. When it goes back to idle I get cold air in the car??
I had the car serviced and replaced the water pump and the thermostat at the same time (and all of the belts). Any ideas??

Whoever did the work for you didn't refill and bleed the cooling system according to the MGR recommended procedure. You have an air lock. Simon

Thanks Simon,
I'll go back to him, in fairness he looks after both of my 75's and has always been good so maybe just a slip up by one of his guys.

Here it is Don.
Note particularly the raising of the expansion tank and that the bleeding screw is refitted before starting the engine. Simon
