Exclamation Important - Battery

Hey guys!

First of all, many thanks to the member that have been help me through the few posts that I've been making. My 75 is almost on point

What's the best battery for my 75 2.0 CDT for the winter time? I've heard Bosch's and Varta. Can anyone tell me brands and models, having in account that it's for the winter time and I want a good battery!
Thanks!

Cheers
Antonio

Bosch S5008 or S4008 or Varta E44 are all 096. Alternatively, Exide EA722.

Just put Bosch 096 battery Rover 75 into your browser. Simples.

I can only add what I will always add to these battery threads.

I only purchase Bosch AGM now.

Impervious to damage, and I think a slightly longer warranty than the standard lead acids.

Not cheap, £120 a pop, but have 5 year warranty.

I had battery problems with the V8, as many owners seemed to do, once replaced with the Bosch AGM, it was an absolute weapon, all the issues disappeared, and its been fine ever since.

Used to be S60008 I think but now 096 S5A08

Cool

AGM as well for my beauty but a BANNER one (Austrian) 70Ah 720A. Same kind of price as Varta or Bosch AGM equivalent. AGM are very robust, reliable & given to last twice as the standard ones.
