Of course, I had no doubt about it. It was only a joke... (only wanted to have an idea of the final result, and also to make something funny about Simon). I took your pic because it was perfect to copy and paste Chinese 2-DIN switches.
By the way, using Photoshop it was easy, but I think it's going to be a difficult job to make a walnut trim for this 2-DIN because there are very narrow areas (down in both sides). I'm sure Simon would try anyway... and he hasn't a gun.

By the way, I think it's a pity Chinese guys thought about our cars to make a new fascia and they didn't when chose the shape of mode-mute-band-loud switches. Much better if they were oval, like aircon ones.

Regards.

My kit of walnut trim parts arrived today

They look terrific.

All I need now is some time to myself to fit them properly.

just another idea
would you think Simon would be able to do Rover trademark pictures (viking ship, etc) in resin/sticker

look at this

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....T#ht_500wt_956

i'm sure you could get a 4gb and stick a sticker on it with the same result but better and cheaper, also loads of other applications, i have seen forum members stick them on other pieces ( warning triangle, mud flaps, interior)

just a thought

the club could do a bulk order in varying sizes and then re-sell through here, add to the shop.
