Thoughts to you and Ging.
Thanks guys, still got the two nut jobs below, Suzy and Pops. I would never have just one dog, eases losing one a wee bit. They haven't missed Abs yet, mind you she very much kept herself to herself.

Unfortunately Ging is down in the Lakes, had to tell her on the phone, must have hurt, she was away when Milka (our 18 yo Poodle) left us. She's coming back tomorrow, we'll bury Abs in the garden next to Milka.

Abbey a couple of years ago, before old age started to get to her.

So sorry to hear your sad news Steve.
RIP Abbey.

Least it didn't involve taking her to the vet Ian. Never had to do that, when we lost Milka he passed away in his own bed during the night.

So sorry to hear about your loss Steve. I never thought i would have a small dog but this pup we have got has such an individual character you can't help becoming so attached to them.

Sorry to hear your news Steve, it’s never easy when a pet passes on.

In a way it was the best thing Andy. She was blind, deaf, she was turning incontinent, she was getting very doddery and wobbly on her feet. The though of having to take her to the vet had crossed my mind more than once. Didn't have to make that decision.

Sitting here I can't help glancing at where her bed was, used to keep an eye on her all the time. If she was getting restless it meant she wanted to pee.

Yeah, I still look for our cat in a Morning mate, old habits and all that, at least you were spared the trip to the vets.
