Rover 75 connoisseur CDT SE clutch problem
Recently bought Rover 75 2ltr CDT, he was tatty but what the hell. Four new Tyres, New interior, Problem is CSC failed big time, so have stripped down and thought kill two birds with one stone and change the clutch as well. new clutch plate different to one fitted. one fitted perforated new one sprung any reason for this are was a case of which was available on Friday afternoon please help.

If I remember correctly you've done yourself a favour fitting the sprung one - the earlier type could get noisy on take up.
