Grandy... RIP OB
We have just received some bad news regarding Grandy from his daughter. The following is an extract from the contact us e-mail.
Hello, your forum played a massive part in my Dads life. Please see his posts and pages of support. Sadly he passed away on 20th June after a long battle with Cancer. Please could you let the members know the funeral will be at Pitsea Essex Crematorium on Monday 6th July at 14.40. Username Grandy.... Many thanks from his family we would love you to post a massive thanks to your members for supporting our Dad and bringing such quality to his challenging life. Deborah, Jane and Philip (Children) I have responded with our condolances on her loss, but she has applied to join our forums as Grandy2 to express her wishes directly, and as such I have allowed her to do so. A sad loss to the Club as a whole. His posts were always a pleasure to read and his participation always welcomed by all. A true Gentleman of the road Rest in Peace Gary, you will be missed ......

Very sorry to hear this. Never properly met Gary. I bought his car off Ray last month. Gary kept a diary on the car from which I've got a real sense of the man. He obviously loved that car and I hope I can continue with the devotion he had for it.
RIP mate. |
