Default Purple/yellow wire from the yellow mini ISO block

My Conty SE has the H/K system and was fitted with the standard NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- Iovox M3-100 system (no Highline) which I've now replaced. The loom has the usual grey and brown ISO blocks, with the smaller green, blue and yellow blocks. The blue block is for the CD changer, green for the steering wheel controls but what is the single purple/yellow wire on the yellow block for?

Default

Further research suggests the wire in question may be related to telephone equipment.
