steering wheel controls
I've just fitted a replacement radio with standard ISO connectors, same as on the original sat nav system I took out. Plug it in, all works fine, however I now have no steering wheel controls. Is there any way to get them working again or do you have to have a radio that specifically supports them?
My apologies if this has been asked before, I did try searching but unsuccessfully. |

You'll need a patch lead to suit your radio. http://www.autoleads.co.uk/products/...-adaptors-pc99

Thanks for your reply and the link.
"The head units that are compatible are Alpine, Bluapunkt, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Panasonic, Pioneer and Sony" So I don't think there's much hope for my cheapo unbranded Chinese set. Still no problem. The Rover steering wheel controls must be the worst I ever used anyway and my hands can still reach the radio buttons. |
