Default Cumbria Shootings

My heart goes out to everyone in the Cumbria region due to the sad news today. I sincerely hope that none of our members have been caught up in these terrible events.

Whitehaven is my home town where events started at 10.30 this morning. 12 people are dead and 25 injured some critical. Only 1 person other than the gunman have been named as yet. This is a very small Georgian town where everybody knows everybody else.....sad sad day.

A really sad day for the people of Cumbria.

My late Brother in Law was from Newby Bridge and we have spent some lovely times with some lovely people up there.

You just never know when things like this are going to happen.

There was an incident today, near Derby, where a Man / Woman & 18 month old baby were killed!

Such sad news all round, my thoughts are with everyone affected.

Default My condolences to the folk of Cumbria.

I am finding it difficult to express my grief for this tragic and needless loss of life. And let's not forget those folk who experienced this brutal rampage. They will have to carry the scars of this traumatic experience and the loss of their loved ones for the rest of their lives. A very sad day, and on a day that has an auspicious meaning to me. My sincere condolences from Australia. egremont.
