Default two pin connector

While I was replacing my radiator over the christmas hols I noticed a two pin connector just in front of the rad on the drivers side behind the bumper, there was nothing connected to it and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what it is for?
I have a feeling that it should be the temp switch for the fbh, can anyone help?

Hi Mossey,

John just beat me to it. The only bit of 2 pin wiring in that area I can think of is for the Air Con ambient air temperature sensor.

The FBH has an ambient temperature sensor mounted behind the bumper, close to the A/C system ambient sensor. The connector could be for either. However, the cabin display would show an outside temperature of -30 if the A/C sensor was disconnected. I'd say you're correct, it's the FBH.

There's a temp sensor at the opposite side and the dash temp is working ok.
If it is for the fbh could it be connected to an in car switch to fire the fbh while running?

I doubt it's that simple. Have you read the thread on diesel running temperature? http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=31429

If it has a Slate/Green cable and a Brown/Yellow cable, it is the connector for the for the fuel burning heater temperature sensor.
