The original photos show a deep socket being used to undo the nut. I've just bought a standard depth impact socket 32 A/f. Does anyone know if this is deep enough to get over the stub axle and reach the nut please?

Solved it. Looking at the photos (at the top of the thread) the nut face is flush with the end of the stub axle (male thread). So a standard depth socket should get onto the flats of the nut.

Prior to my earlier post I had the car up in the air and confirmed that it was the rear offside bearing that was howling. When spinning the wheel by hand i could hear a difference between the rear wheels. Tomorrow I'll try to change the bearing (thanks DMGRS).

Default did you?

Hi all,
when refitting the cap (which was missing on mine and the likely cause of the bearing giving up), did you pack it with grease? Used to be a standard thing to do, but would you or do you still do it on the ZT/75?

Any chance the photos from the first post can be restored from somewhere? Am about to tackle replacing my whiny bearings...
Thanks!

Having trouble with mine.

I've taken the hub off, but the rear race has broken off and frozen onto the shaft. Don't see any way to pull it off as it's got nothing i can get behind. Any ideas?

And, found a fix

https://imgur.com/a/yUmCxe7 <- used a bearing puller inappropriately to grab the 'groove' remaining on the race.

Remove the handbrake shoes (if you haven’t already) you can then get a chisel between the edge of the race and the backplate.

Give it a few GENTLE taps and it will come off.
