Thumbs up MOT pass.

My Connie passed its MOT yesterday, well after an initial fail and a couple of advisories. It failed on no number plate lights, when I went to the garage sure enough no number plate lights and the bulb failure light on. Eventually after adding another earth wire from the light terminal to the multi earth bolt in the boot I then had lights.
Interestingly they were fine the day before as was the boot locking, now the solenoid for the boot latch does not work, does it I wonder share the same earth as the number plate lights? If so there must be a break in the earth wiring to the boot. Will have to try and check the blue connector by the boot key lock.
Any ideas gratefully received.
