Default can the trim on the roof leak water into boot

Hi all, does anybody know if the trim that goes from front to back of the car on the roof leak into the boot, im having my rear screen resealed soon as im getting water dripping down the wiring just under the rear screen,i was just wondering if it can leak in from the roof trim also,havent seen any threads to suggest this leaking from the trim rails, this water dripping down the wiring is really worring me know getting stressed out with it ? regards jondonwar

Hi, don't think its likely water in the boot will be coming from the roof. Far more likely is the trim clips beneath the rear screen, which is the source of my (latest!) water in the boot.

Carefully release the chrome trim under the rear screen and any of the plastic clips that are loose will be letting in water......
