Default grill badge how do you fit it

Hi all, got a rover club badge as xmas present, does the grill remove from the bumper if so how? or is it a bumper off job to fit ,surely do dont have to remove the whole bumper just to fit a badge,any help most welcome happy new year to you all ,regards jondonwar

Hi John I see that you have a MK 2 75, the way I fitted my badges was to get some cavity wall bolts slip them between the grill and then they spring open

I did mine whilst I had my bumper off to change the Intercooler O-rings ( and before all you people with tiny hands say it can be done without taking the bumper off, you haven't seen the size of my shovels!).

Having seen someone at the same nano meet trying to fit the badge without removing the bumper I'm glad I took the bumper off, not as scary as I'd imagined and you could always do your O-rings at the same time if they haven't been done!

agreed,just as easy to take the bumper off what could take you 30 mins fiddling about trying to fit the badge its a 5 min job to take the bumper off and its so much easier when doing o rings to take bumper off and remove the 4 10mm bolts for the passenger headlight makes a easy job super easy :-D

can't you just take the grill out as on the mk1 without taking the bumper off.That's all i did with mine

Yes you can on a MK1 but not on a MK2
