Default CDT TOWING - 1st time!

Took the caravan out today for the first time with my 75. Wow! What a difference from my old car. Quite incredible. Now I know what people mean when they say "its like its not even there"

is yours the 131 or 116 PS? I have the 116 and find that is lacks power close to 60 with the caravan and sometimes neither 4th or 5th is the right gear. Going for a synergy to see if that helps.

Its the 116 and auto, but I didn't go over 60 in it. It seemed to get there without much fuss though. I rarely go over 60, unless I'm over-taking lorries or if there is a nice long stretch of road ahead, then I might go to 70.

Just a tip as a former caravan owner, Either get a Roveron tuning box or a re-map, It pushes the power up to around 155/160 BHP then the pulling power is loads better. Nothing to do with top speed it's just the uphill and pulling away power.

I have a 160 tune especially developed for maximum torque at 60MPH.
Especially developed for owners of "tin tents".

Ive been doing 70 before, and had people pass me with caravans in tow. Usually those invincible types with 4X4's Madness!
