Thumbs up Troublesome door mirror adjustment?

Just a little bump for a very straightforward fix if your door mirror controls aren't working as they should.

It's a job I've been meaning to do since I acquired my ZT-T nearly a year ago, on mine the up and down movement would not work, and left and right were sluggish, a quick read of this excellent How To by Mike How to fix problems with the Driver window and mirror control unit. and everything now works a treat.

So for anyone new to the boards who is suffering this problem, do take a look

Default

Same technique applies to the TV control when it gets difficult to change channels or volume etc.

Default Stuck and sluggish mirrors

I just bought my Rover 75 from someone who owned it for two years. The mirrors were adjusted two years ago. When I got the Rover and tried to adjust the mirrors, they were frozen. I took some electrical cleaner spray and sprayed it behind the mirrors. I then began to press the adjustment buttons located on the door. At first the mirrors didn't move, but slowly they began to respond to the controls. I kept pressing the buttons and eventually the electrical cleaner worked its way into the motors and mechanisms and the mirrors now adjust perfectly.
