Default New seats wiring issue.

Bought some new alcantara seats to replace my tatty old ones. However upon checking them I find the plugs/wiring is different.

On the old seats already fitted, they both have a big blue and a big yellow plug. The big blue one has a lilac/white and black/white wire on both seats, i'm guessing this plug is pretensioner. Whereas the yellow (more central than blue plug) both have blue wires (x2).

However the new ones both have a thin yellow plug towards the pre tensioner with a lilac/white wire and black/white wire. While in the centre on the passenger side is a large yellow plug with blue wiring, on the drivers side it has no plug in the centre, just two blue wires.

Is it just a case of chopping off the old seats plugs and marrying the wiring up so that they plug and play, or is there more to it? I don't want to c*ck it up and have an airbag or pretensioner go off!

Thanks,
Jack.

For the plug for the pre-tensioner just unbolt it and swap the tensioner over. The air bag plug just cut the plug off and swap it with your old one.
That's what I have just done with my new seats.
