Heated seats conectors (photos)
Gotta a feeling I have struck lucky with the heated seat looms already fitted for the switches, could someone verify this, if so how do I get the power from the switches to the plugs under the seats. and could someone also identify the other two connectors.
And just to make sure the last photo is for the seat heater. Julien |

If you have the wiring for heated seats, why do ask about how to get power from switches to under seats?
Just fit the heated seat switches and heated seats and it will work.

As you said from the other thread that your seats are manual and not electric, I think its going to be unlikely that your seats are heated, although there are some heated manual seats.
a lot of the cars have the wiring loom in place for the heated electric seats (which is the black plug u can see under the seat) but it doesnt mean your seats are heated. if you dont have a black plug coming from under the seat to plug unto the black plug in your last photo, I dont think your seats will be heated. If this is the case what you can do is buy a set of heated electric seats and they'll just plug in and work as you have the loom in place. |

Those wires under the seat in your last pic, are the coming from the seat itself or from under the carpet on the floor?

Then I get home later I will let you know which wires are the heater ones as a have the wiring details. Then I brought my ZT it had power seats but they weren't heated, I then found the loom for the switches and it also had the heater wires on both sides of the big black plug under both seats. So I fitted heated seat switches but they didn't work. It was only after removing seats I found the base of the seats had been wired for heated sests but they were no elements in the seats. I then fitted after market elements. I have now just fitted full leather electric heated seats.

the yellow blue connectors are the airbag system.and seat belt pretensioners .as i mentioned some time ago you have the plug for the heated seats on your car.and for the switches.most folks buy the seats with the heated bits and plug them into the plug on the car.you may be able to add the heated bit with out changing the seats but it would removing the covers etc,as for the electric movement forget it the frames are different

Hi, just had a good look at your pictures and you have left and right heated seat switch plugs and the other 2 are cruise and rear blind.
So as you have the plugs for the switches your car is fully wired for electric heated seats so theres no point in posting details of wiring as I can see you have it all.
