Default V6 Front Pully

Hi,
Just spent a couple of days scratching my head with timing marks and the safe position, with a new to me ZT-T.
The one on the car is 90 degrees out from the one fitted to my other ZT_T
I have included a pic showing the difference, has anyone ever come across this before.
Fred

If you are doing the rear cambelts then you don't need to rely on this. The rear cams can only be aligned in one place (If you have the special tool - if not then you need to think a bit further) but you may have to turn the engine twice. So with one of the rear cam covers off I had my wife look at the alignment of the cams as I very slowly turned the crank and got close to the place I had my daughter (Good having kids) get under the car and put the flywheel locking pin in place (Using the correct hole for auto vs manual)

Default V6 front pully

I should have added that the part numbers stamped on the pully are the same, the only difference I can find is the keyway is machined 90 degrees out.
I realise that its not necessary, as I always use notch in the bottom gear when checking timing marks, but it did cause some confusion initially.
thanks for your comments
