Default Help needed in refitted vis motor.

Hi all,
I'm been trying for the last hour to refit my power vis motor but can't for the life of me get it lined up properly with the arm.
I've just about had a gut full of vis motors, one minute they work the next they don't, i'm in two minds to rip the guts out of the inlet manifold so I don't have this problem again!

Simon, relax, your not on your own with this problem, it is a shame we are not closer we could physically work through it together. I can send you whatever I have, different permutations to try to find the problem.

Power Vis correct rest position.

Looking at the underside of the vis motor, hold the vis motor up so the short flat edge is to the bottom, this leave the round cut out to the top left.
The peg on the motor should then be between the 3 and 4 o'clock position. if it is not then the Vis is not working correctly. If this is correct then pull the brown arm in the manifold right across to the drivers side and the peg will drop in to the slot. If it isn't, let me know, I will send you a working one free of charge. ( even though you have not had one from me ) As you have an uprated Balance they do draw more current when warm and as our pm's may require 12v to operate. again I have offered to send you another one FOC.
Don't loose heart with this, as i say you are not alone.

Thanks Dave, I will have ago again later with the power vis.
And I have still got to wire my tester up with 12v to carry out more tests, that's after I find the missing screw which I dropped down into the engine!

Thanks Again.
