Default tax

What is the cost of tax. I think because it is past an 06 plate you will be looking at £500 a year tax.

Looks a lovely motor. Exactly the same as mine.

Please let us all know how it feels. I was very disappointed in the 180 I drove on Saturday. Auto's need low end torque to get them moving and it felt like it was running on 4 cylinders.

I wouldn't have minded it so much but the body was scruffy and the Red Alcantara was in bad shape.

Had £3481 in the window.

I know exactly how it feels, at least with the Power VIS gone on my 2 litre.
Imagine filling the boot up brim full with bags of concrete and then sticking 4 hefty blokes in the car as well and then comparing it to an empty motor.
The difference is night and day and in my case I guessed 20% minimum improvement in low end torque.
The best £100 (£50 per VIS refurbed by Stocktake) you'll spend on a KV6, imo.

You've been in my car then! It's done 40k miles with full history and an elderly owner who hasn't gone over 50 by the looks. Dead vis motors from 30k on a T4 receipt and was quotes stupid money. It's had a full service now with belts plugs etc and still flat as a pancake lol. Will report my findings.

Mine was previously owned by an elderly gent too and I also suspect he hadn't gone over 50, mainly because the flaming thing didn't want to, without an absolute bootfull of throttle. That's why the economy suffers so badly

I don't quite understand why he was quoted a fortune though, as it's literally a few minutes to replace both VIS's

I think I can guarantee you'll be extremely pleasantly surprised when you replace them

How do we get it added as a sticky with clear instructions how to borrow the tester, test and swap em out?

Weekends, I'm buzzing about, weekdays she's parked opposite the train station (south side).
