Hi all,

Just fitted my new seats, they are from a Mk 2 ZT. I fitted the uprated thermostat to them before fitting as we all know the factory ones switch off too low.
I also had to change over the 2 plugs on each seat as Mk1 are different to Mk2, it was the air bag and seat belt plugs.

How did you know you were tapping into the correct wiring for the injectors?

Im actively looking at installing an LPG kit, there is a landi renzo kit, supposed to be a factory kit however i doubt id get stuck until it came to correct plumbing of the vaporiser and the feeds for the wiring.

Just had to renew my subscription just to reply on the thread!

Hi, easy I have full details of which wire colours to cut/joint to, I can post on here or sent to you. The vapouriser can be plumbed in 2 ways - in parallel or series to the heater, I would do in series as my last ZT had it done in parallel and I found after the cars thermostat opened the pressure in heater backs off and sometimes freeze my vapouriser.
Also landi renzo was the system which was fitted then our cars which ordered from new with lpg but they were fitted by the one and only landi renzo dealer in the uk between the factory and mgr dealerships. They pulled out of the uk after mgr hit the wall. But don't worry you can still get parts.
I Have (well 2 years ago) fitted the same 2nd hand landi renzo system to the wife's s type jag.

Could you post or pm me the details?

When you say series to the heater, what do you mean?

how have you got the reducer plumbed in?

The hoses are not the same size as the standard cooling system pipes or do i hook it up to the pipework off the top of the coolant tank?

Easy, plumb the vapouriser into the outlet from the heater. If you look at the coolant hose which runs from the heater around the engine and along side the battery there is a jointer beside the battery, pull this apart and run new hose from joiner to vapouriser and back again using a new jointer back to the other pipe you disconnected.
Doing it this way and not using 'T's means then the cars thermostat opens you will still have good pressure running through the vapouriser and your not cutting any pipes. Also you will be increasing the coolant capacity which is a good thing as our cars are a low compared to others.
